About Me

Howdy! Thanks for the visit to my site. I am a graphic designer, writer, editor, and creative dedicated to positive social impact. I have nearly five years under my belt doing communications for nonprofits in Austin, and am interested in agency work and/or freelancing. I'm a proud returned Peace Corps volunteer (Madagascar 2009–11), longtime cat momma, lover of B-films, and strong popcorn enthusiast.

I create positive impact through creative work.

Victoria Valadez is a full-time freelance designer in Austin, TX. Her specialization is communications and visual design, though her experience ranges from web design, copywriting/copyediting, and project management. In short: she uses creativity and tireless work ethic to solve problems and create positive impact.

Victoria has lent her enthusiastic and human-centered approach to a handful of Austin nonprofits, most recently to E4 Youth as a producer. She proudly served in Peace Corps Madagascar, 2009–11. She has a B.A. in communications from Southwestern University, and an A.A.S. in graphic design from Austin Community College.

When not writing about herself in the third person, she likes nerding out over typography, podcasts, music, and exploring new curious things to nerd out over.

If she could be any punctuation symbol, she would absolutely be an exclamation mark, no question.
