Design Thinkr is an educational and social networking app concept circulating around design thinking. Design thinking is used by many companies and entities spanning various industries to spur innovation, but defining it is still tricky even for some designers. Design Thinkr handpicks articles from various publications, giving examples of design thinking at work.
Started originally as a magazine, the project evolved when I realized the need for social integration, and took into account the counterintuitive environmental demand of printing the magazine.
Users can filter by categories based on their interests.
The app’s social feature, Co-Lab, is a virtual laboratory for presenting and workshopping solutions to improve how we work and live. (Think Reddit for design and service solutions.)
Co-Lab also has built-in direct messaging to connect with fellow changemakers.
