Design Thinking Conference
Better World by Design is a student-run conference led by Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University. Design thinking applies the methodology of the design process and applies it to other kinds of problem solving.
For the scope of this project I came up with a theme for the conference, and branded conference items.
The theme of Reinterpreting the Labyrinth speaks to many topics pertaining to design thinking. Its amorphous, ever-changing approaches and methodologies; the confusion inherent to the process in making sense of data in design/user research; the iteration and reiteration process; and the sometimes overwhelming weight of the “wicked problems” we face as designers and problem solvers.
I produced various collateral to promote the event, including a web landing page, large-scale poster, and conference badges.
