Living History Days

Only a few dusty Texas towns can be found along the lonely, endless highway of West Interstate 10. (You’d best stop at one of them for gas, though, or you’ll likely be stranded hours before reaching El Paso.) Though the rural towns may seem nondescript in passing, their vibrant histories are colorfully woven into the larger story of Texas.

Every year the Fort Stockton Historical Society hosts Living History Days, a weekend of historical reenactment at their original fort grounds.
